Introducing Arval’s new logo
As today’s market is saturated with disparate marketing messages and appeals, it’s very important for us to choose clear, concise, but also emphatic and especially understandable communications for you, our existing and potential clients.
One of the most important communication tools is a simple logo and the idea that comes with it. Times are fast, everything around us is rushing ahead and it’s necessary to be flexible and adapt as best as possible to this trend.
After nearly six years of Arval’s presence on the Czech market, a change has occurred to the logo a total of three times. The last change took place at the beginning of this year, and it relates both to the visual and the ideas that accompany the logo.
In regard to the redesign, the existing logo corresponds to latest world trends in graphics, and thanks to modern 3D concepts the logo now seems more dynamic and breezy than the previous variant.
From this year, the basic idea of the successful activities of Arval has also become a part of the graphic and presentational material by means of the summarizing and apt slogan “Just drive”.
We are hence clearly sending a message and reminding fleet managers and other people responsible for vehicles in their firms that all concerns with the car fleet (acquisition of cars, ensuring maintenance, repairs, changes of tires, checking loads and the sale of cars) fall completely within our care. Clients can therefore concentrate fully only on matters relating to the activities of their firms...and drivers of individual vehicles? To them it’s simply enough to say “Just drive”.
“Drive” also describes the energy with which Arval has successfully promoted itself on the market over the long term and so satisfies the needs of its customers.
So much for introducing the updated logo and ideas, in effect since January 2009.
Arval has already entered its sixth year since its establishment on the Czech market, so let’s summarize its operations from the perspective of the development of its logo and philosophy.
The ARVAL PHH Service Lease company was established in the Czech Republic in April 2003 as the second branch of the Arval group in Central and Eastern Europe. ARVAL PHH tried to meld proximity and speed in order to service its clients in all areas of its activities thanks to precise technological instruments, and trained and experienced co-workers. The ability to adapt, symbolized by the typical chameleon on its logo, demonstrated the ability of the team to respond to all situations, and effectively and quickly deal with given tasks exactly according the needs and wishes of a client. This very adaptability allowed the ARVAL PHH group to become a renown international brand and successfully enter the Czech market.
In 2004, our parent company BNP Paribas created a large project for uniting the portfolios of its daughter companies. As a result of this process, the letters PHH were replaced with the sentence “A BNP Paribas company”.
The hitherto existing Arval Chameleón was accordingly replaced with stars in a green field, the typical symbol of BNP Paribas, which was founded in 2000.
In this way, Arval’s logo therefore already corresponds at first sight to the fact that we are a part of the BNP Paribas group and hence offer our clients the advantage of a strong background result from this relationship. (soundness – reliability – imagination – creativity).
