ARVAL supports Czech sportsmen!

Arval is a long-term partner of the E.ON Team of Kateřina Neumannová, which was established with the aim of creating quality training conditions above and beyond the opportunities offered by sporting unions for its own members for sports preparation. The conditions are the basis for improving performance and sporting results. Sportsmen can rely not only on Kateřina Neumannová’s advice during their preparation, but also on assistance from the best specialists in their fields (Ing. Petr Havlíček, doc. PaedDr. Pavel Kolář and Dr. Emil Bolek), and they can make use of the rehabilitation services at the Malvazinky clinic.
The life of a top sportsperson is incredibly “rushed”. Constant daily transfers await them for training and regeneration, and there‘s often a trip for training camps and competitions connected with them. Arval has decided in this respect to ease the life for the members of Kateřina Neumannová’s E.ON Team and provide them with vehicles, thanks to which they can get to where they need faster and essentially in more comfort.

In the recent past, Miroslava Knapková (a reigning European champion in rowing) used our services the most when she was preparing for the Olympic Games in Beijing, at which she finished with a respectable fifth place. “The summer months are especially hard for me. Lots of competitions increase the training, and I’m constantly travelling. And it’s lucky that I can drive everywhere by car. A trip is much faster and it allows me more time for training. That’s why I really appreciate the support of Arval, thanks to whom I have a car at my disposal.”

Other Olympic participants - synchronized swimmers Alžběta Dufková and Soňa Bernardová -  also travelled more comfortably in the summer.

At the present time it is mostly their “winter sports colleagues” who are using the cars. They are already in full preparation for the season, which will culminate in Liberec at the end of February, where the World Championships will take place. They include Martin Koukal (a world champion in cross-country skiing), Jakub Janda (winner of the Four Hills Tournament and the World Cup) and Nikola Sudová (she was placed second in overall world cup points in acrobatic skiing last year).

We believe that our help contributed to the overall well-being of sportspeople from Kateřina Neumannová’s E.ON Team and we wish them much success.
